Express Entry is a system of selection for Canadian Immigration, it’s designed to select skilled workers for an express entry to Canada.

Express Entry is an electronic process which involves the Canadian federal government, provincial governments, and Canadian employers.

There are 3 main categories for express entry.

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province.

Rural

Rural and Northern Pilot

Rural & Northern Immigration Pilot is a unique immigration program that is designed for small and remote communities in Ontario, Western Canada and three territories to attract and retain foreign workers in these communities.

Each community has there own immigration pilot program and have there own process. Communities launch the immigration programs at different times.

Some of the communities participating in the Rural and Northern pilot are:

Caregivers Pathways : Home Child Care Provider And Home Support Workers Pilots

The Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Workers are pathway designed specially for Caregivers looking for work permit as well as permanent residency after obtaining adequate experience in Canada as a caregiver.

There are 2 main categories for the Caregiver Pathways:

-- Caregivers with work experience in NOC 4411 (excluding foster parents) may be eligible to apply under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot
-- Caregivers with work experience in NOC 4412 (excluding housekeepers) may be eligible to apply under the Home Support Worker Pilot

Agri-Food

Agriculture and Food Pilot

Agri-Food Immigration Pilot has been specially designed to attract and retain workers needed in the Agri-Food Industry. The program started accepting applications in May 2020 and will be available until May 2023.

Agri-Food Immigration Pilot Express Entry is an electronic process which involves the Canadian federal government, provincial governments, and Canadian employers.
