Approximately 450,000 international students currently study in Canada, a figure that is constantly growing. Once the eligibility criteria have been met by the prospective student and they have the correct documents, they may apply for a study permit, online or by paper. Paper applications must be given to a visa processing office outside of Canada. As soon as the letter of acceptance is received, it is important to apply for the study permit. Processing times may vary and during busier times, such as the summer months, delays are likely.

Students Applying For Associate Degrees In Canada May Be Eligible For A Three Year Post-Graduate Work Permit After 2 Years Of Studies.
As associate degree in Canada is typically 2 years long. Students can choose to pursue an Associate Degree on it’s own or use the credits earned to apply to a Bachelor’s degree at a Canadian university. We often see students pursue an Associate Degree first and eventually apply for a Bachelor’s degree at a top Canadian university and transfer their credits.
Not every university or college offers Associate degrees with transferable credits and PGWP. Students must consult an education advisor before applying for an associate degree in Canada.
